These SPDs are based on high energy GSG equipped with thermal disconnector and failure indicator, to comply with standards and to provide a maximum protection efficiency, an high impulse current capability and a improved reliability.
The SPD for the phase voltage transformer(PT) is installed in the terminal box of the switching field.
The neutral line(N phase) of each secondary winding is connected to only one SPD in series with the ground.
